Artist Bio:

Alice Timmons O Brien is a visual artist based in London. In 2022 she graduated with a BA in Fine Art Printmaking from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin ,where she received the 2022 Graphic Studio Graduate Award. Alice's practice, primarily rooted in screenprint and photography, is a deep personal response to water. In 2012 Alice was diagnosed with a spinal condition. She connected with swimming as a means to manage her back pain and keep up a level of fitness. She finds swimming meditative and therapeutic. In her practice she explores our fascination with water, despite its inherent danger.
